The history of Carribbean people tends to focus for the most part, on immigration and race, however, this book, Bristish Caribbean Enterprises, has placed this field into a new orbit. Drawing on primary and secondary sources, Dr Christopher A Johnsobn has completed the first book on the Black Caribbean Capital SME sector spanning a century. It profiles over 200 cases of commercial firms and social enterprises, combined most of which remains outside mainstream of British society. Undoubtedly, the example of these business leaders will help to redefine modern entrepreneurship whislt empowering young people in general, with a sense of purpose and value.
